Coex Quick Reference

How To Use This Quick Reference

This Quick Reference is intended to provide an overview of the optical mechanical, temperature and barrier properties of monolayer CP301 and the two base coex film structures, CP383X and ACP383X.

It should be noted that the property data indicated is generic in nature in that some properties can be modified depending upon the choice of resin(s) and additives used in the manufacturing process. In particular, substituting different resins in the core layer can modify the mechanical properties of CP383X and ACP383X.

* Δ T is the difference between the S.I.T. and the melting temperature (referencing the core resin in coex films).
The greater this number, the better the likelihood that the film will run efficiently on a F/F/S packaging machine.
