Challenge: A Midwestern State converter recently presented a problem they were having with the current CPP film material being used as the sealant layer for a laminate lidding material. The end user was experiencing an unacceptably high rate of liquid leakage through the seal area while the product was moving through the supply chain. The polypropylene tray package contained both a solid and brine mix. |

Solution: By transitioning to COPOL's ACP375 product as the sealant web, leakage has been virtually eliminated and the end user's problem has been solved.

Challenge: A California based converter was in need of a new look and feel for a fresh cut produce package. The end user was a smaller player in the fresh cut produce industry and was looking for help in differentiating their product in the marketplace. |

Need: A New York converter had been using COPOL's CP301 product for some time and with good results. However, they were not able to run their processing equipment at the rated output speed. |

Solution: COPOL's new ACP383X, a 3-layer coex CPP with high performance sealant layers allowed the converter to increase output up to the rated capacity of the equipment. The higher modulus and tensile properties of the ACP383X combined with it's enhanced heat sealing performance allowed the converter to down gauge and still need the end user's expectations. The combination of increased processing speed and film down gauging maintained the converter's competitiveness with the end user.
